Network Administrator
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintains and upgrades IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, SAN, and change control processes.
· Continually evaluates the firm’s computer systems for overall health and performance, making recommendations as appropriate.
· Apply software upgrades, security patches, and regular maintenance for all systems.
· Support the Firm’s Avaya phone system.
· Maintain the firm’s disaster and recovery plan/policy.
· Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation of hardware inventory and configuration, software configuration, repair and maintenance history, and procedures.
· Research technologies and recommends improvements to achieve higher performance, increased availability, and better security.
· Azure Active Directory experience.
· Participates in after-hours helpdesk support.
· Support the internal Help desk as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· Excellent troubleshooting skills across desktops, servers, storage, and networking.
· Strong organizational, project planning, and time management skills with the ability to Independently manage projects as assigned.
· Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to communicate with attorneys, staff, and team members.
· Able to work hours necessary to perform essential duties and projects.
· Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Azure, Office 365.
· Supporting and configuring technologies, g. Citrix XenApp/NetScaler.
· Microsoft Exchange/Outlook
· VMware virtualization and SAN technology
· Full disaster recovery (DR) experience, including replication, fail-over, and fail-back.
· Document Management System experience, a plus.
· Experience working in a law firm.
· Able to travel to other offices.
· Knowledge of Palo alto firewalls and eSentire a plus.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related specialty; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Microsoft Azure and M365 certifications are a plus.
Certifications desired, Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNP, VMware VCP.
