Our Talent Solutions team is looking for experienced SAS Developer to join our growing financial services consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
- Work on Agile-based projects for a Salesforce Forecast calculating financial statements for key Credit Risk business areas of our client.
- SAS programming experience needed to provide SAS automation of existing Excel-based manual processes. SAS will be used to calculate income statement forecasts and provide various output formats like Excel or CSV. Using SAS, SAS/Macros, and SAS/ODS.
- The SAS application will also be connected with an Oracle data mart using SAS/SQL, SAS/Assist, SAS/Connect, SAS/Access, and SAS ETL.
- The SAS Program will also wrapped in Python to provide UNIX command line access to a future Web Based User Interface.
- Work with business users and analysts to understand the business requirements and process and independently provide appropriate solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Economics or other quantitative discipline is preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience with SAS and Python in a UNIX / SAS Grid Environment is needed.
- Experienced with working with a cross-functional team (analyst, development, testing, and production support).
- Must provide technical guidance or consultation to less senior staff, share knowledge and experience with other team members, and train or mentor users based on their needs.
- A strong understanding of numerical and statistical techniques is required.
- Familiarity with Software Engineering techniques such as using Object-Oriented languages such as Java and C++ preferred. AWS experience is a plus.
- This is a remote position, must be comfortable working east coast hours and able to effectively work in a home office environment surrounded by moderate home noise.
